Got Groceries?
C O R R E C T I O N S
I made a huge mistake in the pattern! The "Shaping Row's" should read:
Row 1: K2tog, knit to the last 2 stitches (dropping the extra YO and knit as one), K2tog through back loop.
Row 2: Purl.
Do these two rows a total of three times. Cast off.
Pattern Stitch rows:
Round 2 should read: *Knit first YO (dropping extra loop), knit 2* contiue from* PM.
Basically, the entire row is knit.

After a great deal of stress, editing, and casting on again (for such an easy pattern): I'm proud to introduce...
And all in the nick-of-time! I made a promise to have it up by weekends end, and I did it with an hour to spare, I'm so proud of myself. Though, I couldn't of done it without the help of a GREAT and GENEROUS friend, thanks W.
Please feel free to email me with any questions or suggestions. Remember that this is my very first (and maybe last) pattern, and I will do my BEST to answer questions to the best of my knowledge.

HOORAY!!! I'm bringing it to work today so I can get what I need to make it! :)
Thank you so much!

I can't wait to make this! It will help me stash bust....and I even have the handles!

I can't wait to start on this. I'm always bringing recycled plastic bags or some annoying bag that won't stretch enough or stay on my shoulder. This looks PERF! Thank you so much for posting.

Oh wow - I've seen grocery bags before, but this one beats all. It just jumped to the top of my "to-knit" list! Thanks so much for the pattern!

I guess my question comes in the pattern row direction. It says to Sl 1 Knit 2 psso. Are you knitting those 2 stitches together then passing the slipped stitch over for a double decrease or are you passing the slipped stitch over the two individual stitches for a single increase?

I'm loving the pattern! Couldn't find a 12" circ but my 16" is working great.

I just started this pattern and love it! Like Kristen I am using a 16" circ and it's fine. I also substituted Tahki Cotton Classic in Olive which is very nice.
Thanks, I think this is the best shopping bag pattern out there!

Hi, Thanks so much for the pattern. I just have one question. When you come to the end of the first Round and the end of the second round you use the abbreviation SM. What does SM mean. Thanks so much. Love the pattern stitch.... Sue

Somehow I screwed up the beginning of the pattern .. I think I didn't have the right number of stitches. But now that I have it right, it's looking excellent. Thanks so much for putting this out there!
